Interesting Facts

Dothan is known as the "Peanut Capital of the World" due to its large peanut production and the National Peanut Festival held annually in the city.

The Dothan Area Botanical Gardens features over 50 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, including a butterfly house and a variety of native plant species.

Dothan is home to the world's smallest city block, known as the "Honeysuckle Midland Block," which measures only 39 feet by 46.8 feet.

The owner of KBC restaurant in Dothan, Alabama, is set to host a new cooking show on Netflix called "Next Gen Chef." The show will feature young, up-and-coming chefs competing in culinary challenges to showcase their skills and creativity.

The owner, Kelsey Barnard Clark, who won Season 16 of "Top Chef," will serve as the host and mentor for the contestants.

The show aims to inspire and showcase the next generation of talented chefs in the culinary world.
