Water World Dothan Announces Final Weekend of Summer Season |
The beloved local water park is set for one last splash this Labor Day weekend, marking the end of its 46th season with special hours and admission deals before closing for the year. |
It's time for one last trip down the slide as summer comes to a close in Dothan.
Water World has officially announced that this Labor Day weekend will be the final opportunity for families to enjoy the park in 2025.
The final day of operation for the season will be Labor Day, Monday, September 1st.
After a full season of fun that kicked off in May, the local landmark is preparing to welcome crowds for a final summer celebration.
It's a bittersweet moment for many Wiregrass families who see the park's closing as the unofficial end of summer.
To mark the occasion, the park is offering special admission prices all weekend long.
Visitors can enjoy $5 off regular admission on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, a move designed to give everyone a chance to say goodbye to the season.
Special hours will be in effect for the holiday weekend.
The park will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Monday, and from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
From the iconic Tsunami Wave Pool to the thrilling Great White tube slide, all attractions are expected to be running for the final send-off.
This weekend represents a final chance to create those summer memories before the park gates close until next year.
Following the human season, Water World will host its annual Doggie Dip event the following weekend, giving local pups a chance to enjoy the pools.
After that, the park will fall silent, concluding another successful season in Dothan, AL. |
